Welcome to the Columbus Ohio IPMS Modelers Website
Welcome
to the website of the Columbus, Ohio, Eddie Rickenbacker chapter of
IPMS. We as a club are dedicated to the promotion of the hobby of
scale modeling. Our meetings feature modeling subjects and programs
covering all areas and genres of the hobby. Our meetings are open
to visitors (see the meetings page for directions and maps) and feature
a monthly contest. We have approximately 50 members, with widely ranging interests and skills. For a list of members follow the link at the foot of this page. We enjoy all aspects of scale modeling, and invite anyone to join us at our monthly meetings, where we exchange modeling tips, information, kit reviews, and general fellowship. National Convention Tee ShirtsT-shirts, pins and decals from the 2009 IPMS/USA National Convention in Columbus Ohio are now available. The pins and decals are the surplus stock from the convention and will be sold until supplies are depleted. No more will be ordered. T-shirt orders will be taken until the end of February. At that time, we will have the shirts needed made and everything shipped together when they are done. We are only taking snail mail orders at this time, so you will need to complete the order form and mail it in with your payment to the address on the form. Blizcon 2009 is now over and was a wonderful success. For a change from the last few years, we had great weather with the rain and snow holding off until after the end of the show. There were many great models on show, almost 700 were entered in the competition. Congratulations to all the winners, who are listed here.
